My wife and I adopted our first Border Terrier in 1999, Kobold Ceilidh of Kilcreggan, followed by our second one in 2000, Kobolds Road Warrior. These two dogs were adopted from Kobold Border Terriers and became our foundation stock. My wife and I are both from the UK, so this was an easy breed to pick. We joined the BTCA in 2000. We quickly learned the respect and importance of owning and protecting these little brown dogs. We are members of our local all-breed club, holding officer and show chair positions. My current hobbies are bike riding and taking the dogs on walks [which is a] lot easier now that I’m retired.
