The Border Terrier Club of America will be offering a Border Terrier artwork contest at the 2024 National Specialty. We are looking forward to seeing what all the talented Border Terrier owners can do. There will be three classes offered: Professional, Amateur and Junior (under 18 years old at March 20, 2024).
First Place winner will receive $100.
Second place winner will receive $50.
- Entries can be a painting water color charcoal pen and ink or anything that can be done on paper artboard or canvas
- Artwork must be done within the last three years (from 2020 on)
- All artwork must show a Border Terrier (or at least part of one)
- All works will be displayed during judging on March 19 & 20
- All attendees of the specialty will receive a ballot (one vote per class) during the annual dinner and winners will be announced at that time
First place winners will agree to donate their work to the live auction. Arrangements can be made to receive and display your work for artists not attending the specialty in person. You may submit up to three pieces of art. The deadline for entries will be March 18, 2024.
All proceeds will be donated to the BTCA Scholarship fund. Entry fees are $20 per artwork for Professional and Amateur. Juniors are free.
